Hershberger is an Pennsylvania native and was born in Schwenksville. Hershberger was an Archdiocesan Scholarship recipient at Gwynedd Mercy Academy. DeSales University awarded her full scholarships to complete her bachelors of arts in theatre, and a minor in theology. Hershberger was an active student throughout her childhood, pursuing work in theatre, film TV, hosting and modeling. Hershberger began her professional career in the entertainment industry at the age of 5 and was a part of local and small theatre productions. Hershberger performed in commercials as well volunteers at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival while she was in college. Hershberger left Pennsylvania in 2005, and embarked on an career in entertainment. Hershberger was first introduced to the web during this time, appearing in a number of YouTube channels including IGN, Fandom Smosh Rhett and Link TheFineBros Nerdist as well as other channels. She made her first big breakthrough in the world of internet when, as of march 2012, She was hired as a host by DeFranco Creative and Business Inc. to host of SourceFed. Hershberger together with other co-hosts of SourceFed received the Series of the Year Award (Audience Choice Award) at the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards. The next year, they were awarded Best news and Culture Series during the 4th Annual Streamy Awards.
